· The US Code (USC) is a compilation of US law at the federal level, consisting of 54 broad "Titles." While

   almost all of them will in some way contain sustainability/environment/conservation implications, key

          ~ Title 15: Commerce & trade

          ~ Title 16: Conservation

          ~ Title 21: Food & drugs

          ~ Title 30: Mineral lands & mining

          ~ Title 42: Public health & welfare

          ~ Title 43: Public lands

          ~ Tiflte 54: National Park Service & related programs

US Code of Federal Regulations (USCFR)

· The US Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) "is the official legal print publication containing the codification

   of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by the departments and agencies of

   the Federal Government.”* As with the US Code (see above), it is divided into Titles (50 of them), but while

   there is some overlap in terms of subject matter, they do NOT fully correspond with the US Code.
